www.british-sign.co.uk - excellent online course to learn British Sign Language. Usually £25 a year but currently pay what you can (so you can get it free).
www.scie.org.uk/e-learning - Social Care Institute for Excellence : Lots of brilliant free online course for topics such as "Dementia Awareness", "Quality Improvement in Health and Social Care" and "Communication skills" (amongst others). You can build up a learners profile and be awarded with certificates which can support UCAs. SCIE is a nationally recognised organisation. Just need to register an account (which is very easy) and they can register as a student.
